9th - 12th July 2009
This event has grown since being placed the week before the Open Championship and tickets are now available for the 2009 event on Thursday 9 to Sunday 12 July, when the worlds greatest golfers will challenge last year's winner Graeme McDowell on the majestic Loch Lomond course. 27th - 30th August 2009
Played at Gleneagles this European PGA Tour event always attracts some of Europe's finest golfers and with the Race to Dubai heating up and the Ryder Cup approaching it is likely the names will get even bigger this year.
If you're coming to watch any of the events you can always use Ayrshire as your base and fit in some playing in between watching the stars.
Loch Lomond is around an hour away by car from Ayrshire whilst Gleneagles can be easily reached in under ninety minutes and is motorway almost all the way.
In addition to these major events Scotland's West Coast Golf LInks will also play host to a number of other events over the coming year and beyond.
