Each of the West Coast Links courses you'll play during your visit to Ayrshire offers Pro Shop facilities. The information belowbelow gives an idea of what's available at each of them and how you might be able to get the most out of your visit.
All have fully stocked retail operations with a range of club branded clothing, equipment and accessories and if the swing needs a little attention perhaps you can call ahead and arrange a quick lesson. Most of the courses have their own practice facilities where you can make those pre round adjustments.
The pro's are also responsible for both caddy karts and where available buggy hire.
But more than anything the pro's and their assistants are there to make you feel comfortable with your visit, a chat about the course, local rules, course management even. Often the first point of contact on arrival these guys will keep you right from everything from club rules to time on the course.
And of course there's that age old and somewhat lost adage that used to be on every golf marker owned, "Golfers Who Know, Buy From Their Pro!" - they're always good for some branded clothing and momentoes of the visit.
So when you arrive at one of Scotland's West Coast Golf Links make sure you pop in and say hello
