Brig O’ Doon house has five deluxe bedrooms all ensuite and tastefully decorated in a traditional style, but it is perhaps best known for its wonderful gardens and the incredible interior architecture and workmanship of the old building.

The hotel has become synonymous with weddings since it re-opened and is now regarded as the number one choice in Ayrshire, perhaps even the West of Scotland for brides.

Awarded a 4-star rating by the Scottish Tourist Board, the Brig O'Doon offers five deluxe bedrooms all individually decorated in a traditional syle.

The Brig sits at the south end of Alloway overlooking the River Doon and offers accommodation which is not only ideal for weddings but also for the perfect getaway for that short winter break.

Wedding parties frequently utilise all of the hotel rooms for their big day and the weddings team will be delighted to assist you with rates and room types on request.

If you are looking to have a private function, our Witches and Warlocks private restaurant is the perfect choice. Situated in the Brig O’Doon House, Witches and Warlocks can cater for up to 45 people.
Our fully trained function co-ordinators would be delighted to meet with you and organise your event to you own individual requirements.
Your event will start in our Chapman Billies Bar with a Canape and drinks reception, you will then be escorted down a mood lit spiral staircase to your own private restaurant.
We have a range of menus for you to choose from, from a Burns Supper menu to a 5 Course Banquet.
Your package includes Canapes and a drink on arrival and is available

If you're out and about in Ayrshire you could do little better than chose to stay or dine at Brig O' Doon House in historic Alloway.

The Banks O'Doon Tea Room which is situated at the lowest level of the hotel opens out into the glorious gardens and riverbank. You can while away the time reading the morning  newpapers and enjoying the delicious home baking, coffee,  freshly made sandwiches and light meals.     The menu has been thoughtfully prepared to allow customers to try the Costley experience in an informal setting.  

The Restaurant is a superb experience. Wherever you choose to sit you cannot fail to be impressed by the surroundings or the food from the Lunch and Dinner Menu which is all fresh local produce. The unique architectural features and wooden beams, the original paintings and artwork which reflect the area and the inspiration of Robert Burns and the Scottish heritage will make you want to proudly show it off to family and friends visiting the area.    It is quite simply a memorable experience. 

The Ballroom  at Brig O’Doon is undoubtably one of the most impressive venues in Ayrshire.
